As expected, the United States confirmed a 25% tariff on Brazilian exports. The measure has quickly become politicized, and President Lula is expected to use it as a campaign issue by placing responsibility on Flávio Bolsonaro. Another setback for Flávio Bolsonaro came from the latest Genial/Quaest poll. According to the poll, Flávio has lost support among voters who identify as conservative but are not aligned with the Bolsonaro movement. The publication of a letter from Jair Bolsonaro by Flávio Bolsonaro also continues to generate political and legal repercussions. Another dispute involving the STF concerns Congress. Justice Flávio Dino ordered the leaders of all political parties represented in Congress to report within ten days whether they participate in the allocation, management, or distribution of congressional budget amendment funds.
