This afternoon, the First Panel of the Supreme Federal Court resumes the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro and seven other defendants accused of attempting a coup d’état, with the vote of Justice Cármen Lúcia. Yesterday, the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) received Senator Eduardo Braga’s (MDB-AM) report on the bill that advances tax reform. Also yesterday, the Lower House agenda included a vote on Provisional Measure 1300/25, which modifies the Social Electricity Tariff to exempt low-income families from paying for electricity in cases of minimal consumption. However, the measure was not voted upon.
