His defense argued that he never acted to prevent the inauguration of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). Yesterday, the government scored a key victory in the Supreme Court (STF). By a narrow margin, the Court upheld the validity of collecting the Cide tax on foreign remittances for contractual payments.
