Negotiations around spending cuts continue today. President Lula is scheduled to meet this afternoon to discuss the spending cut package with government leaders. According to the government leader in Congress, Senator Randolfe Rodrigues (PT-AP), the bill regarding parliamentary fund transfers will be put to a vote in the Senate on Tuesday, November 12. The Senate’s Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) will also resume next week its hearings on the regulation of the Tax Reform. For now, the plan is for the hearings to conclude by November 14.
