Great changes in the first three days after the election

Following the noisy celebration by massive crowds, mainly from the younger generations, in the late hours of Election Day, making the streets of central Budapest look a bit like a New Year's Eve, the government media went through a spectacular change in recent days. The threat of military action by Ukraine against Hungary and of a civil war prospectively initiated by Tisza, and also references to the evil actions of Kyiv, Brussels and their agent in Budapest, disappeared completely. Instead, a more balanced news reporting has taken over. In addition, at least three well-known figures at the second tier of Fidesz' establishment blamed PM Orbán for the election defeat, two of them directly, specifically naming him, and one indirectly, through passing responsibility to those who used Fidesz' rule to accumulate immense amounts of personal wealth.Even more importantly, Tisza head Mr. Magyar did not fall asleep on his election success. On Monday, he held an international press conference of the length of almost three hours, responding to all sorts of questions, including on a wide array of specific policy details, from foreign affairs to social policies, from financial issues to the energy security problems, etc. This was a real novelty from a Hungarian head of government, as PM Orbán has notoriously refrained from appearing at similar events, not really discussing policies other than very high level global issues, which are known as his favourite topics. Mr. Magyar spoke freely, no aides, no papers, all by heart, appearing fluent in essentially everything a Tisza government is preparing to do.
