The President of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP), signaled yesterday that he intends to put to a vote the presidential veto on the sentencing framework bill related to those involved in the January 8, 2023, attacks. He also stated that he plans to convene a joint session “as soon as possible” to deliberate on the matter. The rapporteur of the Central Bank autonomy constitutional amendment (PEC 65/23), Senator Plínio Valério (PSDB-AM), said that the chair of the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) is expected to place the proposal on the agenda for next Wednesday’s session (April 15). Finance Minister Dario Durigan met with senators yesterday to assess potential support measures for indebted rural producers. Among the options under consideration is the creation of a credit line.
