A meeting is expected this week between Senate President Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP) and party leaders to discuss the legislative path of the constitutional amendment proposal (PEC) that would end Brazil’s 6x1 work schedule. The Lower House is expected to attempt a vote this week on Complementary Bill (PLP) No. 114/2026, which would allow the federal government to offset fuel tax exemptions with extraordinary revenues from the oil sector. On Wednesday (June 10), the Supreme Federal Court (STF) is scheduled to hear motions for clarification related to the Civil Rights Framework for the Internet (Marco Civil da Internet). Last year, the Court ruled that Article 19 of the law is partially unconstitutional.
